Marathon race pace
Marathon race pace
I'd have to guess, but probably 800 pace right now. I'm just now getting back into training, so hoping to get that pace for a mile soon. Lifetime it's a little slower than my 2 mile pb from the one year I ran track in high school. I'm almost 50 and would like to think that with some serious training it could be my 5k pb.
At some point it was my mile PB pace, I guess.
At best it was my moderate tempo pace.
Then it slipped to my 5K pace.
Now it's back to mile all out pace, maybe.
about 50 mile pace probably
About my 400m pace
Go on, laugh ?
Long run pace, especially if one of the guys gets antsy and we bring it down at the end.

lmao how short are ya'll? 200 cadence at 6:00 pace? That's insane!
remember you said this when you are over 55 and 6:00 pace feels like a heart attack because your flexibility and strength (not to mention maxHR) has faded radically
in my teens 6:00 was daily pace, now it's race pace and only at high cadence
Too fast for a "hard run" but too slow for tempo.
ran an HM at 5:57 but I think I'm in a little better shape, so somewhere between M and HM.
it's kind of a funny pace. it feels hard on my body and mind but I'm not winded after a mile or two. this is in contrast to 3 years ago when it was my 2 mile race pace.

10k race pace.
Am I a hobby jogger or fast man?
Pretty fast man if you're over 40.
Around 50K race pace
Hopefully, marathon pace
Long run pace, not an easy long run but nothing too taxing.
5K pace (age 45).
And I use that pace rarely in training, only in 30/30 strides.
After a 5k race at that speed, my muscles hurt for four days.
50 miles race pace
Little slower than 5k pace and a little faster than tempo pace

Read about what happened in the road racing training thread. How are things going? Praying it's possible for you to return to running again. Be well man.

People have a lot of different thoughts about a 6 minute mile pace.
For you, is it a:
Half marathon race pace?
5k race pace?
Easy long run pace?
Fast tempo run pace?
Mile repeat interval pace?
Mile PB?
Hopeless hobbyjogger pace?
Fast pace?
Would like to hear your thoughts.
Child’s play.
