People have a lot of different thoughts about a 6 minute mile pace.
For you, is it a:
Half marathon race pace?
5k race pace?
Easy long run pace?
Fast tempo run pace?

Slower than my recovery pace (5:50) when I was younger.
I usually average 5:55 - 6:05 for tempos depending on the route.

it's a 1.5m stride at 180 cadence
or 1.4m at 190 cadence
or 1.35m at 200 cadence (which would probably mean you are at threshold)
if it's your mile time, you have a 50-ish vdot
if it's your marathon pace you have a 63-ish vdot
and if it's your true recovery pace you'd be lying because you wouldn't be wasting your time on LR
it's high 70 if not 80 vdot which is very rare (think Ritz or Ben True)
A 6 minute mile pace is:
1:30 400m track lap
18:40 5k
37:20 10k
1:18:39 half marathon
2:37:19 marathon
3:44 km / min
16.09 km / hour
10 miles / hour
Use to be below it for a marathon. Now can't run it for a quarter mile interval workout. Yes, I'm old(er).

was tempo pace (3-4 mile tempos) before I got injured.
Slightly slower than 5k pace, but not quite tempo. I race at about 5:50 and tempo at about 6:15. So, maybe 10k race pace?
