Can anyone relate what a typical public HS track XC coach pay/salary might be?
Also, is it generally mandatory to be USATF certified ?
thanks

$5k for head track. $4k for head XC. $2k for assistants. USATF not required but extensive training required in some states.
Head XC/T&F coach of both genders for fairly large public school program in big city (with very high cost of living)
$3700 T&F
$3700 XC
Roughly 100 members of XC team and 150 members of T&F team (although pay is the same regardless of size)
No USATF certification requirement

Wow, that's a huge XC/T&F turnout. That'll keep a coach busy
