Thank you for your efforts. -
I'm putting this thread up on the HP. It's his first race since May. Good to see the king back in action.

Anyone with insight as to why the times are so slow on both sides?

Everyone was forced to eat a keto diet in the preceding weeks before the race. It was for a study. -
There was a 180 degree turn in the race which caused the slow times.

1)That Alvarado kid from BYU has already exceeded expectations. Think he's going to turn some heads.
2) Yorks has gone backwards from being such a promising athlete out of college
3) Unfortunately, I think Kerr will go the way of Yorks -

It was that worrisome Las Vegas snow, always such a consideration at this time of the year. Oh, I meant Calgary. They're like twin cities, y'know, eh? -
there was a big turn, it was a little windy, and most importantly everyones training is behind because of how late USAs are for 2019

While there may have been some results below expectations, 2018 was actually a really good year for Yorks!

PRs of 3:53.40 (indoor mile) and 3:36.81 (1500) - plus a 2nd place finish at USAs in the 1500. He may need to improve substantially to be a threat on the world scene, but I think he is going in the right direction, based on looking at the results. -

This is a tremendous year for Yorks. Do that this year and he will be on World team. -
Who cares about Cheesewhiz. Prob be out another 6 months with a blister.
Dillon Maggard though - what a beast. Pretty good time for a 5k/10k guy. This guy still has a ton of potential. -
Looks like Drew Windle's time was left off the official results...... 4:36

I sincerely hope that comes to fruition. -

He was 2nd at the US champs behind Centro - something he certainly never achieved in college. -
Was this advertised anywhere at all?
Would have loved to watch this race had I knew it existed since I live in Vegas.
I must give credit where credit is due though... At least RRNR put on a race with some elites and some prize money.
Vegas is their largest event, hopefully, they make this 1 mile race an annual event.
Also, it was pretty windy on Sunday and if there is a turn around, they were definitely running into the wind at some point and on a slight incline. I’m sure that didn’t help with fast times. -
when is his mr wonderful agent going to get Cheserek's citizenship mess worked out?
