For the record, as a Kenyan, I just want to put it out there how extremely happy I am for Desisa. He looked like he'd been cooked by Breaking2 and for a while it didn't seem like he'd ever recover. Popular, hard-fought win and Ethiopia should be proud.

What clothing store does Lewis Johnson shop at?
Yea I want to know that too so I can avoid it
Unless he is still in his "I am dress as Spike Lee for Holloween custome"
Lewis just motivated me to watch the "Sound of Music" -
From the start of the women's race and up to the moment when Desisa hit the tape, the elite woman/men had just under 1:20:00 of time on the TV screen (on ESPN2.)

His interview on ESPN just now was great -

Ahahahaha....I thought I was the only one that thought this. In this day and age of me too movement, you ought to keep your hands/d**k/and mouth to yourself. The kiss on the cheek made the women feel uncomfortable judging by their body language.

The race director is the most creepy guy ever. Always awkwardly kissing and hugging all of the women runners.
He is a total creep. Dude also loves him some camera time.
Think that's Peter Ciaccia, NYRR President, who will be retiring after today.
Getting in his last licks, so to speak. -
H&M is NOT from Germany by the way. Lewis is as American as Apple Pie and probably from Vermont (sarcasm)

Shalane with him around her shoulder looked like that actress in that Harvey Weinstein photo. -

Yeah I noticed that too. Just a little too touchy-feely for comfort. He was pretty much the same with the men on the podium too, so hopefully he's not a letch but it was still awkward. -
I agree angryjohnny. Here's my test of appropriateness. Is he going to kiss the men's winners too? If not, definitely inappropriate in this day and age.

Old Navy, Burlington Coat Factory, Dicks or Duck Dynasty store.....only thing he is missing is his F-150 truck and hunting rifle. LOL

Man finished in 2h05 and the race started at 9:50 so it ended at 11:55
Woman started at 9:20
11:55 - 9:20 = 2h35
It showed running only about half the time -
Biwott could have been a sub 2:10 runner, but then he would need a better coach than Hansons.

Fauble 2:12.28

Ritchie 2:15.22
Vail 2:15.31
With a magic coach he had done it. -

I got to watch just a bit less (zero) than those of you who actually had "coverage". Typical.
In any event, big THANX to all who posted in this thread so us non-viewers could get some feel for the race. -

Rolling my eyes. Enough of this Shalane charade. Her win last year was a fluke and she looks older than 37.

ESPN dumping on Shalane, the first place American
I´m sure she´s older than 37. Most people in America don´t know their real age. -

Random Canadian dude and ex NCAA champ from British Columbia ran faster in Toronto last month (2:09) than any of these guys

Not watching, but I am assuming you mean a collared shirt and a pullover? Nothing more German upper class than that, except the extra knotted pullover/cardigan worn as a cape 😂
