If the Saudis are able to kill their own journalists in their embassies in other countries without consequences it is because the statesman in the White House finds their denials, excuses and fabrications "credible". He probably wishes Kashoggi had also been "body-slammed" like that annoying Guardian reporter (as well as having his fingers cut off and his body dismembered).
