This week, my coach moved me up to 65 mpw for high school summer running and offered double runs where I would split up easy days 3 times per week. If I decide to double run, should I increase the amount of miles I’m running. For example, if I have 8 miles easy and decide to double, should I do 9-10 miles between the two runs? I was thinking that if I do the same amount of miles, doubling will just make it easier.
