Did Jordan ever lay an egg in the playoffs? Sure LeBron's last few games have been good, but that's following up a stellar 15 point performance where the Cavs got whipped.
The game is different today. If Jordan played in todays' game, he would be unstoppable. At 6'6" there is no one I can think of besides Kawhi Leonard that could match him defensively. The rules have changed so much, from a much tougher game when Jordan played, to a much softer game. I can't believe that you can run down the court now, and literally jump into the defensive player and get the call. WTF?. Or lift the ball through the defensive players arms and get a continuation call and 2 free throws. OMG, Jordan would have averaged 40ppg. and Yes Lebron is one of the all time best ever.

Lebron is just not likable or inspiring. He has a lower social IQ than Jordan. I do think he is more powerful but less finesse and boring to watch. MJ was magical to watch. Part of it is the NBA is a joke these days. 90's had a lot of great teams and was more physical and had a lot of powerful centers.
Really? Lebron is the likeable one. How do you not like a guy who often bikes to games or drives a Kia? Does a ton for Akron and Cleveland. Has a clean criminal record. Still married to his high school sweetie.
Jordan on the other hand cheated on his wife. Abused alcohol and gambling. Was a dick to all those around him. And spent his hall of fame speech looking like an ass while he revealed he still has a grudfe and kept a record of all those who have wronged him in life. So petty.
Oh please, the dude was in Space Jam and packed a theater full of kids during that time. No one cared about that stuff back in the 90s. You are making him sound like Kobe, that was not the case at all.
Mike's marketability was much greater than LeBron's. Gatorade, Hanes, Nike, some battery company, and McDonald's all had commercials running at the same time back in the day. Be Like Mike was a real thing.
As for LeBron, he instantly became unlikable when he did the "Decision" and followed it up with saying "We are going to win 6, 7, 8 titles..." It became easy to root against him after that. He was almost like how KD is now.
He did gain a lot of points back after winning that title for Cleveland. That has helped his legacy a lot.
On the court (or basketball related), Mike was more liked than LeBron.
Of the court, LeBron is remarkable and well respected. He's done very well in his position.
Thank you for posting the obvious here. Lebron is basically the ultimate role model for kids. He's been in the public eye since 15yo and his biggest crime is getting cocky with his announcement to change teams. Of which, I remind you, he raised a couple million dollars for youth charities. You can cheer against Lebron all you want, the great ones always have haters, but don't say he's a bad guy.

Everyone just standing around beside the weights, just staring at the TV with their jaws dropped. Never seen anything like it. I wonder if this even happened when MJ played - doubtful!
Of course it happened when MJ played. And MJ as a better player who never gave up. Unlike King James who can't really pull out the stops when in odds are heavily against him.
Ken Goe is right. One of the sticky threads on the top running discussion website is talking about basketball. But who gives a shite about running right?

LeBron's made plenty of those.
Did you see the defensive play by LeBron that led to LeBron's game winner? Jordan would have had to depend on Rodman for that. LeBron is the team.

That's like calling Tom Brady selfish because the center doesn't snap the ball to any of the other players in the backfield.
No, it’s not.
The post clearly compares him to others in the same position. Read.
I've watched Lebron since he was in high school. When the ball isn't in his hands, the offense is terrible. Remember when Miami used Lebron as a "decoy" and lost the finals? It was pathetic. They would either turn the ball over or pass it to Lebron standing 25 ft from the basket with 4 seconds left on the shot clock hoping he could bail them out.
I was alone in the steam room with Butt Naked Basketball Player at the Venetian Spa in Vegas.
Who did Jordan face in the finals Better than any team that lebron faced ? Other than the Mavericks. Lebron dominates the game in a way Jordan can't. Lebrin going straight to the league from HS shouldn't be a knock against him either. He is one of the free actually good players straight from highschool.
Another great one by LeBron last night. Did it all. Those step back 3s at the end of the game were unguardable.

Jordan swept the defending back to back Champs in 91, the Bad Boys Pistons with Thomas, Dumars, and Rodman. But I guess MJ didn’t dominate like LeBron.
