with Regionals coming up you don't need "interesting," or creative workouts, you just need something simple to get you to the start line feeling confident, ready, and raring to go.
unfortunately, today is Saturday so I'm probably too late, and if your race is on Thursday then Saturday is a little early for your final workout, but, all you need is something like:
2 x 300m at your planned race pace. give yourself a nice long recovery.
jog a lap very slowly.
3 - 4 x 150m pretty sharp. not your best 200m speed but faster than you ran the 300m's. you want a long slow walk back recovery.
sample times: if you're running 12:00 for 3200m, that's 90s per lap, so your 300m are in 67s and your 150m's in around 30 - 31 seconds.
