As any legal expert will tell you 'If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit!!'
Clearly he was not guilty of the crimes of witch he was charged.

"Not guilty" does not mean "innocent."
There's a presumption of innocence. "Not guilty" means a jury thought that the prosecution did not prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. It's a high standard. It does not mean that a jury thinks that someone is actually innocent.
Sometimes people get away with murder because of lack of proof. It doesn't mean they are actually innocent.
He got off because of Johnny Cochran's world famous Chewbacca Defense

That's because he is innocent. That doesn't mean he didn't commit double murder, though.
You're confusing being innocent with being found not guilty by a jury. Two different animals. That's how they got OJ in the civil trial.
Forget the evidence...... Who the hell has their friend drive them for a two hour low speed chase with a gun in your mouth if you've done nothing wrong? That's not how someone normally would react to the mother of your children almost getting decapitated.

NOBODY thinks that OJ did not commit the murders. But MANY think that the "not guilty" verdict was their little chance to "stick it to The Man."
My grandmother died convinced a tailback that good wasnt guilty.
OJ killed them folks. But I have no doubt that he was so coked up he now doesn't think he did.

Whose little chance? The inept prosecutors?

Spot on. The Scots legal system actually has three options in a criminal trial: Guilty, Not Guilty, or Not Proven. Our Not Guilty could mean that the defendant is innocent or that the prosecution failed to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. I'd love to see the three option system adopted here.

I'd go further and add a fourth: If you are falsely accused and prosecuted, the accusers (everybody from the arresting cops through the prosecutor) should be held accountable in some way, I'd prefer both professionally and civilly. You would see a lot less bs cases in this country - real quick.

I doubt that the prosecutors were particularly thrilled with the verdict.

No legal team would have gotten a guilty verdict. The only possibility would have been a hung jury.
In his first substantial interview in a decade and his first extensively about football since the 1990s, Simpson spoke to The Buffalo News on Monday. There were ground rules: No video; no sensationalized promotion of the interview; questions should be limited to his playing career. He expressed his affection for Buffalo, the Bills and running back LeSean McCoy, especially. He laughed at the idea of Donald Trump buying the team and conveyed disappointment with the NFL's national anthem demonstrations.
"But after the whole L.A. thing I got put in forced retirement, and I got used to forced retirement. It's not bad."
The "L.A. thing" — he also calls it "all that L.A. crap" — refers to the killings, the low-speed freeway chase in his white Ford Bronco, the acquittal and the 1997 civil judgment that ordered him to pay $33.5 million to the Brown and Goldman estates.
Simpson collects pensions from the NFL and Screen Actors Guild, funds insulated from the civil judgment.
Simpson's 332 carries in 1973 broke the record, as did his 39 carries in a game that year.
If 39 attempts was a lot, then consider his USC time clock. He averaged 35 carries his senior season. He ran 47 times in one game, 20 in a single quarter.
"You know, you get dinged," Simpson said, using the all-encompassing term of being knocked anywhere from dizzy to cold. "Who knows what a ding is?
"I got dinged late in my career with the Niners. Hacksaw Reynolds caught me on the 1-yard line and filled the hole. I saw stars."
Dings add up. What used to be shaken off with smelling salts are now deemed subconcussive impacts, blows that might not meet the traditional definition of a concussion but are believed to have serious cumulative effects.
Simpson was asked if he thought he had CTE.
Simpson and Trump once were friends and golf buddies.
Simpson attended Trump's December 1993 wedding to Marla Maples at the Plaza Hotel in Atlantic City. Two years later, Trump suggested on the "Howard Stern Show" that Simpson was framed for the Brown Simpson and Goldman murders.
Trump since has mocked Simpson on Twitter.
"Somebody asked me if I'd have voted for him," Simpson said. "Probably not, but I only know two of my friends I'd vote to be president. Some of my best, best besties I would not vote to be president. That has no bearing on it, you know?"
Simpson generally agrees with the president about Colin Kaepernick and other players who've demonstrated during the national anthem before games.
Simpson's usual routine (when visiting Buffalo) was to stay on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, play golf and tour the wineries. Canada likely won't grant him entry now. He'll stick to the U.S.
Indeed, some LRC founders didn't even know he had a WR relay record.
I think almost everyone thinks OJ is guilty. I think most people who say he isn't actually believe that he is they're just lying.
The reason OJ got off is that no matter what was being said on TV, all they had was circumstantial evidence and that doesn't get it done.
The best alternative theory I have heard is that OJ's son killed them and called OJ in a panic. OJ then rushed to the scene so he was actually there and knows exactly what happened but didn't kill them. According to the theory OJ kept his mouth shut because he was willing to take the rap for his kid. It's an interesting theory because he's sons alibi not only changed from its original version, both versions turned out to be false. Also Nicole had allegedly called the police previously about someone snooping around her house and she told the police she thought is was OJ's son. He also had a bit of a psych history and had allegedly tried to stab someone before. According to the story he was working as a chef at the time and Nicole was supposed to show up at his restaurant that evening but never showed. Of course as a chef he had is own knife set that he carried with him so you can see why it doesn't look good for him leaving the restaurant angry at her for not coming.

Good god this is one stupid and ignorant comment.

Makes people mad, doesn't it?
Funny how people freak out about it, it's the end of the world if some legal case involving strangers doesn't go their way.
The reason OJ got off is the idiotic jury system we have. All you got to do is to convince 12 idiots.
