But if you look at Rory Linkletter's HR data you can rest assured he was NOT pushing to his limits.
Maybe some farm team guys were. Not a problem for Coach Ed- they're disposable.

What's wrong with pushing your limits. The season is over in 6 weeks.
The session was in early September. They want to peak in mid-October, as per usual.

I haven't seen the workout but, unless I've got this all wrong, I thought hard sessions were the way you got better. You know, suffered discomfort, as a result became physically and psychologically stronger?
