So there is a 5k at the park near my house next weekend and it's the first year for the 5k. Advertising has been very low key and don't think anybody but hobby joggers will show up. Pretty sure I could run sub-18 and win the thing by at least a couple minutes and get first prize.
On the other hand, my family is celebrating my nephew's 2nd birthday and my family wants me to drive to my hometown for that. That might be cancelled if my sister has her 2nd child, which is due next weekend as well.
So should I sign up for the 5k and crush everyone or visit my family? Please help me letsrun, with this moral dilemma.
