Nike sticks it to you poor dumb gullible shmucks again. They capitalize on the idea that running barefoot or with minimal shoe protection is a good idea by first promoting the idea, then convincing you that one of their shoe models is equivalent to running barefoot. But only once a week, as you will need some of their other models for other days. I expect Nike to come out with special shoes for different days of the week - Monday shoes, Tuesday shoes, etc. I guarantee if they do, someone will buy them. I suspect Nike's renowned research and development is more involved in how to make a profit than how to make running shoes.
