huh huh?
light rain this year?
we won't know until literally that day
the weather here in New England is notoriously fickle
prepare for all eventualities
Not only that, it can be very different at the start than at the finish. Think it was 2 yrs ago when all the reporters in Hopkinton were talking about how warm it was, when the people at the finish downtown were walking around in jackets. That sucked b/c the runners worked up a sweat in the beginning, then when they crested Heartbreak got hit w/ an offshore breeze that was not only a headwind, but chilled everyone for the last 6 miles.
The course in Boston may be a toughie, but it's often the weather that really does in the form charts.
That is one of the factors that makes Boston such a great run.You just do not know what weather will turn up.
I ran in 2003 and it was a terrific day(taking into account that I live in a hot climate.)
The next day was horrible and the lady and I hopped of the tourist bus at the Hard rock Cafe just to get out of the cold.
Spent all afternoon there getting thoroughly sloshed.
A memorable time from what I can remember of it.
Good luck.
Fucking HOT and a waste of time as always.
Right now the long range forcast from Weather.com says clear skies with a high of 55, low of 41. Sounds too good to be true, so it probably is.
