Exactly.
Many of you morons are not familiar with the meaning of the word "solo."

Fam doesn't have any problem solo.

What's your definition?

It is not a matter of my definition. It is a matter of what the word means.

Ok so in the context of athletics it means 'to run alone or sufficiently far ahead of other competitors that no pacing or drafting benefit can be gained from them'.
What do you think it means?
more than half of this was solo

No. That is not what it means. David Rudisha did not run solo in his world record at Beijing. Surely you understand this?
Not to hard for this guy

You still haven't said what you think it means. All you've done is call me a moron and be rude.
Context is always key. In athletics that is what 'running solo' is most commonly used to mean.
The Beijing was thrown in there to see if you know anything at all about the sport. You at least know something.
Do you consider 100m, 200m and 400m races to be solo? By your definition they are all solo. You do not know what the word means.

Haha! Nice try.

I guess you don't want to give a competing definition so I'll happily use 'solo' the way everyone else does.

Idiot. You have no idea what solo means. You think it means what you decide it means. There is no "competing definition." Educate yourself you moron.
While the clown patrol argues over the definition of solo, I'll add my two cents:
It's easier to run 3:59 solo than 3:58 in a race.
My wisdom has been given to you.

You have a low IQ.

I remember Galen Rupp saying that even for guys that run well below 4:00, that it's still pretty tough to break 4:00 when you try to do it solo, with no help.
How fast do you have to be to make a solo 3:59 possible?
The story is that when Tom Byers' dad said that he'd never seen his son run sub-4, Byers took him to the track and ran a sub-4 on the spot.

You literally haven't corrected that poster. Nowhere in your posts have you even hinted at the definition of the word 'solo'. Please clarify.

You too do not know what "solo" means? How is this possible?

The word 'solo' has more than one definition in the dictionary so I have no idea what you are getting at. The word 'solo' is a noun, adjective and verb that all technically have different meanings. Generally it means to do a task alone but that has room for interpretation, when are you ever truly alone?
As a noun
1. a thing done by one person unaccompanied, in particular:
- an unaccompanied flight by a pilot in an aircraft.
- a piece of vocal or instrumental music or a dance, or a part or passage in one, for one performer.
2. a card game resembling whist in which the players make bids and the highest bidder plays against the others in an attempt to win a specified number of tricks.
3. a motorbike without a sidecar.
