I guess Murphy could be a pretty good 1500 guy after all.

uhhh that's eamon coughlin you little shhit, you're worse than NBC.
That's fair, I realized my mistake right after I posted it. Still screwed up. I'm a dude and crap like this is an embarrassment to my gender.

0/10
Drew Hunter 3:56.8!!
Good PR for Hunter. He is progressing nicely.
Anyone have full results yet? Sorry for the impatience.

Heck of a run from Jenkins.
Andrews seems a few steps off his game these past few weeks. I was thinking this would be a breakout year for him.
Speaking of breakouts, Merber looked great today too. Can the letsrun community admit that he is the most likeable 800-and-up guy in the US at this point?

My wife also watched and is a non-runner. She watched Wanamaker. WHen she saw Centro in the stands, she said, "Why isn't he running? The best aren't running?" I told her it would be too easy for him to win.
Then she said, "Well then why are we watching if the best aren't playing."
Welcome to why track isn't popular.
To make you feel better, my wfie then added, "That's why I don't watch college football (big NFL fan). I like to watch the best."

2) I don't know who won the men's 2 mile. I haven't watched it or seen results. But Masback's analysis of that race was flat. He said there was so much of a focus on time that Centrowitz forgot to focus on racing. What??? Centrowitz repeatedly said he didn't care about time - he wanted to race.
Masback is the dumbest smart guy you'll ever meet.
Shannon Newbury, LOL. Is this the same guy who disrespected the first sub-4 miler a couple of weeks ago?
Also, you'd think if you're talking about Sandi Morris's great 2016 you'd mention her vaulting the magical 5 metre barrier. But, no, they're not allowed to and I guess talking about the "magical 16 feet 4 and 3/4 inches barrier" doesn't quite do it.
Why is US track & field so stubbornly out of step with the rest of the world?
NBC's stats are a complete mess. They had Melinte's 4:17 as the current WR in the women's indoor mile instead of Dibaba's 4:13 from last year

With a 1:56.8 last 800 too. Good run. Looks like NCAA competition would have been perfect for him this year, and he would have contended for titles right away, but he's certainly progressing into a professional career nicely.
they showed a video clip of that old balls fellow doing stats for 60 years.
sounds like 60 years too many to me.
Sammy Watson broke Mary Decker's indoor 800 record from 1974 and there was no mention of it in the broadcast. She ran 2:01:78 to Decker's 2:01:80.
I meant to say high school record for Sammy Watson

Wouldn't have even won the B Heat. Dude's a scrub.
Jenkins really running well since not making Rio team- must have lit a fire under him
Jenkins seems to have a real future in the mile with the 5th ave 3:49 and this one. He beat Centro in that 5th Ave. Mile just in case you think Centro would have easily won this one. The competition should help both of them in training. But Jenkins might also have a shot at a sub 13 this year.
Millrose Invitational Mile Christian Soratos 3:54.23 ??
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
