Mueller's report will be so damning that the Senate will have to convict...if Trump doesn't resign first or there is something unlawful that is unforeseen that goes on or unless aliens from space make it not so.
You keep using the phrase "Mueller's report".
As if there will be a single report.
He has already been reporting.
Every indictment, plea and conviction are all multiple reports.
And he could be fired before delivering this report you talk of.
But his discoveries have been passed on.
The redactions that we cannot see have been passed on.
I think Mueller can keep going for another two years without a final report unless and until something happens where he is removed or steps down.
At some point Congress has to take what's available and run with it.
Yes I know. You have stated as such before, and I concur. Mueller has been reporting with his court filings; I get that. There will likely still be a final summary report of some sort, and if not, then "the report" that I ever talk about will just be the culmination of all his filings.
I too believe it is possible that Mueller could keep going for another two years or even more in fact. The depth of the criminal activity that Donald Trump has engaged in is massive, and I suspect it might surprise even me. I PREDICT that it won't take 2 more years for Mueller, but I acknowledge that it can. And yes, Mueller could be fired...that will just add to the obstruction of justice and/or abuse of power charge.
I think Congress will wait for some official ending from Mueller before they act unless Trump fires Mueller and their hand is forced. If their hand is forced, I am not sure if they will just go with what they have or continue with their own investigations that will begin once they take over in January.
Trump will be exposed and pay the price.
