NO

203
garmin says 56 I think probably closer to 52
max HR probably about 173-4, I told garmin it was 177 [want to retest]
so no, I have no idea at all actually. I've hit 172 HR in a race tho [70.3] but rarely get above 162-3 in a 5k even in a race
You need to get it tested on a threadmill... any other way is clutching at straws....

So should i run on a treadmill with my garmin until i get ready to pass out or try this on the road?
Age 58.
No idea about max Vo2
max HR: 189-190. I hit 191 at the very end of a hard 4-mile race in February 2015. It usually drops about a beat a year. (It was 200 ten years ago.)
Max heart rate is 210, which does not reflect my age.
No.
And most others don't either.
(Actual VO2 testing is one of the most tedious, complex, and inaccurate athletic measurement ever construed. The same athlete will get wildly different results from different testing sources, revealing the different protocols, methods, and limitations of the testers from different sources. One persons 62 in Boulder will get a 72 at Center in Colorado Springs.---Which one is true??)
For runners, Daniels tried and true Vdot measurement is an actual measurement of VO2 max as a function of running paces which is much more applicable for training and for bragging!
Just a pure VO2 # for bragging?? XC skiers have everyone beat, especially runners!
My watch says my VO2 max is 55 (my Daniels VDOT is lower). I can say my max HR is at least 203, possibly slightly higher.
Probably going to just race a 5k as hard as i can with my HR to see where I'm at with that.
Vo2: no
MHR: 205
20 y/o
VO2 max: 68.5
mHR: 199
5k: 15:24
