I run a 5k in about 16:30 and my race pace is around 5:20-5:25. I did my long run yesterday at a 7:08 pace. Is this what I should be doing?

no the other guy with a 13:48
I have a very similar 5k PR as you. My long runs (up to 10 miles) are run at about that same pace. I almost always negative split and just run on feel. If I feel good I sometimes get into the 6:40's for the last mile.
Yeah yesterday it felt pretty comfy. Thanks for the feedback
Probably about right, or maybe a little fast. Important thing is for it to be comfortable. Long run pace might be different if you training for 5Ks versus training for marathons.
Trust me it felt really comfortable. Started off at a 7:20 and the last 4 miles were all almost sub 7. This was for 10 miles btw
