I ran a 1:24 in the 600, and I wanna see what you guys say that would convert to in the 800. Just asking for a range of opinions though. That's all :-)

1:56
1:53-54.
What Comfortable old person said.
This table, for what it is worth, says 1.38 is the conversion for 600m to 800m. So 1:24 converts to 1:55.92, or very close to the 1:56 that Comfortable old person wrote.

Realistically you could be anywhere from ~1:54 (for a really endurance-oriented dude) to ~2:02 depending on how strong you are on the aerobic side. Many 50 point-quarter milers can muscle out an 84 second 600; many of them would struggle running sub 2 in the 8.
What have you run for 400? For 1500? We'd probably be able to give a much narrower estimate with those numbers.
I'm in agreement here. It's also going to come down to getting in the right race. I ran a 1:21 time trial in practice, and went on to run a 1:55.9 the following weekend (admittedly the pace went out slow) for a lifetime best.

Oh cool! I'll definitely make use of that table for future reference. Thanks man! :-)
If I were to consider all your times are relatively equal, I'd say you could run 1:58-1:59 with that
As already said, it depends. If you are mainly a 400m runner I'd say close to 2 (could be in the 1.58-2.02 range), if you are more an 800m runner I'd say even 1.55. 600 is a very nice event but it's not impossible to run 1.24 (55+29 e.g) for a 50 guy.
Yea, I think 1:56 sounds just about right.
Who the $%^^#$%#$% cares!!!
Just run the friggin distance and you will find out.
Christ I hate these posts
Probably 1:56-2:00 depending on your endurance. A kid from my high school ran 1:23 his junior year but couldn't break 2 until outdoor because he wasn't that strong aerobically. He did end up running 1:53 so if you're undertrained on the endurance side of things you could make a big leap if you improve that. Otherwise 1:56-58 is my guess.
