It will be interesting to see how she does on Saturday. I'm betting she will finish behind Johnson & Eccleston.

grace is probably more of a miler than an 800 runner, which is the scary thing. no way she loses to johnson or eccleston.

If kate keeps this up she's going to break the american record in the 1500 in a couple years

It's very easy to see Kate losing after flying across the Atlantic and racing in less than 48 hours.

I too thought prior to the year her best event was the 1500 not the 800 so it will be exciting to see if she can have this success in the 1500. Brenda Martinez has shown you don't always move up with the same level of success.

Lol Buchel taking it out in 55.5 or whatever. I was hoping she could pull it off against the manly women in her hometown. 55.5 is insanely fast though, especially for a woman who's PR is like 1:57 or something. My PR was 1:56, was probably good for 1:54 and I still wouldn't take it out faster than 55.

Good for her, I hope she continues to succeed. But the whole MF threads are just "hey I am a tool with a potty mouth."

I have to admit, im pretty impressed with what Drew is doing with her. He is really showing you didnt need to be former stud college runner or professional runner to make a good coach. I understand he never ran in high school or college.

He ran in HS and at Wesleyan College in Conn. They had some OK runners: Bill. Rodgers, Amby Burfoot, Sebastian Junger...

It will be interesting to see if Kate is able to move on from the clutches of Oiselle. She is deserving of the support of a brand with more professional approach.

You know she's consistently said in interviews that Oiselle's support has been huge in getting her to this breakout season, right? Not exactly Oiselle's "clutches" there.

You might not like Oiselle but it's clearly a relationship that's working for Fast K8.
