Greetings to all:
Any advice on some super sore legs. I havent been this sore in quite a while. I havent did anything worthy of 'fast stuff' but here goes some main workouts.
Avg, since Dec, 80 miles per week mainly in singles. No choice with the crap weather/darkness. Most routes are pretty hilly. One day did (Dec 31) 3 runs for 29 miles total.
Dec, 4 20 miles - 10 uphill, 10 downhill, 2:29.55
Dec,22,20 miles - 10 uphill, 10 downhill, 2:48.00 (6 miles in ankle deep snow)
Jan 8 50k race - 3:56.06 not too sore
Jan 14 20 miles with 4 miles at 6:18 pace, 2:38.00
Quads are sore, calves/achilles are sore. Any advice? I also train in racing flats quite a bit but switch a little here and there to trainers when I feel like I need to. Anyone just hit a point to where they are so sore they cannot get up and down :)
