Everyone would love Sara Hall to make the team! But she can have a bad race also. I say the latter here
Belainesh Gebre, because I met her and she is a nice person and also because when she was running well the sponsors were unfair to her (as they usually are to Ethiopians and Kenyans) in that the sponsors did not give her the same they would an American Female with similar performances who are the same age, Example she ran a 68:51 half marathon and 2:26.17 for 3rd in the Chicago Marathon (and 31:33 10k) all this in her early to mid 20's and did not get money from her sponsors and I have been a Social Justice Warrior, before I ever heard of the term.

Ward freakin scares me' Ed eyestone is a animal also. Great guy though. SO JUST GOT INFO Grant Fisher went 30th at Husky invite in WASH. in 5000.
Go Fernando!
Who are her sponsors?
I've followed Eggleston's career closely ever since he won the Pittsburgh marathon in style in 2:16 after fulfilling his rabbiting duties and catching up to and quickly dropping the lead pack. He's the 4th seed, but I think considered by many to be an underdog. Nick Arciniaga just because he seems like a cool guy who has been at it for a long time and has put down some solid times, but has never really had a breakthrough performance. I like Cabada as well. You can tell he has a great passion for the sport. People give him a hard time for talking big and not always delivering, but that's actually something that I like about him. Then there's Scott Smith, who has a relatively modest PR of 2:14 but is nevertheless giving himself a shot and may finally surprise everyone.
Kibet is really interesting and I would like to see him make it. Puskedra finished ahead of him in Chicago, but in a way I was more impressed with Kibet's performance with the way he took it out hard and tried to break the 2:05 guys. The dude apparently has a strong belief in himself.
I'm not as familiar with underdogs on the women's side, but I would really like to see Clara Santucci do well. Bummer about Deena Kastor and Lauren Kleppin, both of whom I thought had an outside shot at making the team.

I'd hate for you to be caught unawares, but FYI, that term is usually used ironically.

I don't think he is entered.
Pennel!!!
Its 4:19 AM and I can't sleep. Worried and hoping Luke has a good race.
I'll root for the guy who gets the best fan post in this thread.
Hope they got security down all around this course. USA's greatest and most loved in one pack. We are missing a few, Deena, Vail, Derrick etc..
BREAKING: Leonard Korir not going to Paris! 11 Universality athletes get in ahead of him!
Hicham El Guerrouj is back baby! Runs Community Mile in Oxford
What is the most stupid running advice you've ever heard?🤣(It can be funny)
Are Asics, Saucony, and New Balance envious of Brooks, Hoka ,and On?
