All speculation? They found a motor in her bike. This isn't a "never tested positive" scenario; they found a motor in her bike.
That's a video of her accelerating away, up a cobbled climb with no change in position, or visible effort. It doesn't need to be evidence for a motor, they found one in her bike. All it is, is a demonstration of its use.
When I said, the video proves nothing, I meant that first one in the quote above with the wheels turning. There's no load on the bike wheels.
Speculation? I meant speculation that they are being used in the tour de France. AFAIK, no one on the tour has been found with one. Obviously, they are being used in cyclo-cross with that finding.
I've never ridden one of these bikes. Is it something you can use buy at the local LBS? For commuting? I just find it hard to believe you could put a motor in there, which would make a difference.
Could you post the video of her speeding away? This topic is fascinating. I used to race Cat3.
