Anyone see Shubenkov on the 110 hurdles start line? He looked so cocky.
It was awesome -- he's the world champ, after all.

For those who save Jager had to peak in Paris and there can't be WC fatigue, note that he beat 3 of the Kenyans who finished ahead of him. Clearly there is some Worlds fatigue.
Eunice Sum was on top of 800 this year except at Worlds and she won this one when it looked like with 150 to go she might get 4th-6th.

Obviously they're not tired from a race that was 10 DAYS AGO. Their season peak has passed and they can't perform up to their best anymore. They could rest another 10 days and they probably wouldn't perform any better.
Hey you're right, they should probably just hang up their spikes because no amount of rest is ever going to help them run fast again.
Other than Paul Kipsiele Koech, this is a very tired meet. They need more naps.

I think you missed the point of his post...
Women's 3000 doped to the dorsals. Sub 8:20 coming?
3000 going and Ayana and Dibaba have separation already (with 2 rabbits in front of them). 8:30 pace say commentators

So it must be time to watch pole vault...

What happened to Rudisha and Balla after 600m?
Sorry for not posting. I've been cussing out the cable company people. My bill is over $200 a month. How much do you all pay?
ANyway, that was a bizarre race. Rudisha bot passed by like 5 people and then tried to rally. His losing wasn't a shock to me considering he lost in 2011 and 2012 at the end of the season but falling back to 5th or 6th mid-race was a weird site.

and high jump
4:13 at 1500
A "weird site" rojo? Really?
No, this is a weird site.
2000 @ 5:35, rabbits gone, Ayana leading Dibaba still
Commentator guessing sub 8:20
7:18 bell, together
WOW Ayana
68, then 64.6 (for Ayana)
Looks like JennyS crushed Rowbury and infeld. who is with me? Simpson needs to switch to the steeple.
Of course dibaba is so inconsistent, maybe you can hoe she does't get her peak right in 2016.

I think you missed the point of mine. Why do you think people can't perform well after they've peaked? Maybe because they need rest?
Simpsons time certainly says she could potentially run a sub 9 steeple (if trained). That would be something.
That Blond Greek pole vaulter has to be doped to the gills. Looks like chyna from WWE with her hair bleached
What was her time?
