As a tribute to the late Arthur Lydiard who was an advocate of high mileage I will run at least 100 miles next week, starting tomorrow Dec. 13th. Will anyone else join me in this tribute?

Just had shots for my back but I will do 6 miles tomorrow, if I have to walk or crawl, in tribute of the man.
I'm in. I was already planning on it, but I'll keep the man in mind.
I'm doing it, no doubt.
I'm going to try, provided my achilles holds up. Im gonna be running slow as shit!
The passing of a famous person has never really affected me very deeply, and I had trouble empathizing with those whom it did. But now I am able to understand: this is heart rending. I have never done more than 65, but I'm going to give it my best shot to hit 100 this week in rememberance of the man he was and all he's given all runners.
I was in Houston/Huntsville for the Ultra that Lydiard spoke at. While I have known and applied his philosophy with my training I was very motivated after listening to him speak Friday evening. I'm going to do everything I can to get in 100 miles this week.
THIS week, it won't matter.
I'm officially into week 6 of Lydiard's famous 9-week buildup, but count me in on this, exam week or not.
Thanks to all of you for joining me in this tribute.
10 miles this morning; will run again this evening
i did 5 this morning. only 95 to go
I started yesterday with 15. Did 7 this morning and plan on getting in another 7 tonight.
Now you're talking!
i went for 2 hours yesterday, i had originally planned to do it but because of the sad news i heard yesterday, i thought i'd do it for him
I am in too, just had to finish a 14 miler to make sure that I could do it...
Are we updating at the end of the week???
can you post his "9-wk buildup"? thanks!

anyone think this cud be modified to fit a college cross season of roughly 26-30 weeks? let me know if anyone has any ides I'd like to use it.
The most mileage I've ever done has been in the 70s, but I'm going to crack the 100 mile cherry this week. I ran 17 yesterday. This morning I did 8 and this afternoon a did somewhere between 7 and 8.
