In "Healthy Intelligent Training" Keith Livingstone says "conventional" weight lifting (sets of 10) produces to much acidosis to really be beneficial. He says it is much better to lift alactically (small sets of heavy weights). I was wondering Letsrun's opinion on this. I've always lifted lighter with higher of reps but maybe I've been doing it wrong.
