For about 2 years now, I've made the choice to not have red meat, pork, or really anything that walks on 4 legs in my diet. I've been predominantly a chicken eater with the occasional fish filet. I'm left wondering--and I have no idea why this question just now entered my head--if the lack of vitamins, zinc, iron, etc. could produce an unnoticed effect on performance.
Are the levels of these vitamins and minerals in poultry/fish enough to sustain a runner? Or should I be looking to take supplements?
