Previous weeks- 26.4, 35.4, 42.2
Goal= 48 miles
M- 5.05 miles negative @ 6:56 pace + 1.25 mile warm up
T- 9x300m w/ 300m jog recovery (53 second avg.) + .5 mile warm up, and 2 mile cool down
W- 6.07 miles E @ 6:57 pace + 1.25 mile warm up
Th- 7.02 miles E @ 6:57 pace + .5 mile cool down
F- 4.05 miles recovery @ 7:56 pace + 1.25 mile warm up
S- 6.31 miles recovery @ 7:40 pace + .5 mile warm up
Su- 10.04 mile LR @ 7:26 pace + .5 mile warm up, and .5 mile cool down
Total- 50.04 miles
Monday-Thursday- I felt really good for all 4 of these days, but I probably should have taken a recovery day right after the speed work, because my legs were a bit trashed. Really happy with the way my Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday easy runs turned out.
Friday-Sunday- My legs felt pretty heavy and just bad when Friday came along. My coach told me to just take it 4 miles recovery. Saturday my legs weren't hurting too much, but they were a bit stiff. After a really tough week, my legs were trashed for my long run. My stomach was upset the whole entire time that I was running which was very annoying. Very mentally challenging long run, and if I didn't have my friend there I don't think I would have went into double digits.
Next week I have a well deserved easy week, I had already planned this so it isn't something just out of the blue.
