Had an athlete I'm coaching run 6x 800 with 2-2.5 minutes rest he averaged 2:17, his last one was 2:13... he said he felt like the workout was pretty easy, this was in the same week he races 1500 ran 3:56 and then 45 minutes later does a four mile tempo in 5:04 comfortably... he should be able to run 14:30 5k right? And yes I know the rest is a bit much on the 800s...
