The nasty weather will result in an upset on both sides favoring Americans. Miss Flanagan on the podium.

Accuweather sez at noon, expect 46 degrees but wind chill of 33 due to head wind of 20 to 22 MPH out of East south east -so into their faces. So it could be anyone's race.
The weather forecast ths morning is better than it was yesterday when we talked about things on our pre-race radio show with Toni Reavis. If you want to listenn to that, you can download it via itunes here:
Here is the hourly weather in Wellesley, MA - the halfway point.
http://www.weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/l/USMA0447:1:US
There is a zero percent chance of rain until 12 noon. When I looked out the window, I didn't see the trees moving. The headwind is less than predicted last night. It's 12 mphs at 10 going up to 16 mph at 12 nooon wherease yesterday the prediction was morel ike 15 at the start to 20 at the finish.
I have been unable to get in touch with LetsRun.com's wind expert - John Kellogg to ask himi how much that will slow things down.
Ritz will be first american and Flanagan will finish just short of her goal and place 2nd

Anyone else getting a black screen on the BAA live feed? What time does video coverage officially begin?

The BAA live stream link didn't even take me to the stream just some other website
Coverage is supposed to start at 9:30am ET.
Now it's working for me:
The screen now says that the live feed will begin at 9:30a.

I\'m getting the same thing still at 9:08 a.m.... Anyone know what the deal is?
I also got a black screen. maybe it won't go live until just before the women start. I don't know. it was great last year.
I'll go outside the LRC norm and say how awesome the coverage at the site is for this event this year! I may have just not paid enough attention in past years, but even coming to LetsRun to check track meet results yesterday morning, I got lost in the excitement of Boston for 4 hours and ended up listening to the preview podcast with Tony and the guys! Rojo, I feel like you're hilarious but very misread. I mean that as a compliment, btw.
For the race, I am very excited to see what Shalane can do! Last year was so amazing seeing her try to break the best marathoner in the world and just come up short, proving her own humanity. Regardless of those that don't like her emotions, I think it makes her more like us and I love it.
As for the men...let's go Meb and Ritz!
The stream just came on!!!
Feed just started up for me at 9:25 EDT
Is there any way to get Closed Captioning off the live feed?
click the 'live' button in the controls at the bottom of the viewing screen
Do they not know the mikes are on?
Got to love how it is starting with the announcers practicing how to pronounce each runners name
