Christian Soratos clearly showed his fitness when he ran his converted 3:56 mile, speed when he ran his converted 1:47 800m, and strength when he ran his 7:54 converted 3000m, so why didn't he get invited to the Millrose Mile? He def should have gotten a spot over Johnny Gregorek, even Pat Casey had trouble getting into the Millrose Mile and he ended up 3rd
And then also, one of the Oregon coaches told Chez around 800 to stay back with Gregorek to make sure he was on pace for an NCAA qualifying time, really? You go to Millrose to COMPETE! Not rock back for one of your teammates, Chez could've ran faster, he just basically wasted his spot on that line up too
In addition, in the Husky Classic Mile, Soratos looked so relaxed, and then when Kidder made his move, he passed him right back, looked back at him (2 full head turns) and then distanced him by 2 seconds in the last 80m, his kick was lethal, and he also negative splitted 1:59, 1:56, that's not even optimal
Without the celebrations and more optimal pacing, he probably could have went 3:53.75 instead of 3:55 low, and that would have put him at 4th on the Millrose mile, less than a second off of the collegiate record
