Glad Heather Kampf in the field - she'll make sure it's a strong pace. Both the American record and WJR could fall. Any idea if Alexa Efraimson planning on coming? She's been MIA for indoors.

-Cheserek takes third in 3:51 high, new collegiate record

-Lagat unimpressive in the middle of the field in around 3:55-3:56

I like these. I would point out though that 3:55-3:56 for Lagat would smash Eamonn Coghlan's 40+ world record of 3:58.

These races will be awesome. Cain didn't look great this past weekend. She didn't look like she was ready to run. Neither did Rupp. I'm guessing that will change and I think Cain is better over the longer distance anyway.

Planning to go but will also record the races. NBCSN correct? I didn't see the TV information in the release but it's listed on USATF's site as 6pm on NBCSN.

Men's race looks awesome. I have to say, though, I think Lawi's run this weekend was more impressive than Matt's.

(Who knows where Ches's training is right now, but imagine if he ever beat them both. It'd be Earth-shattering.)

Should be a lot of fun to watch.

It's good, but it's nothing amazing.

Hard to say. Centro ran what, the last 400m+ by himself? Lalang had guys to run down the whole DMR anchor. I think it should certainly be a good race, though, and Ches will run a big time.

Can this replace the sticky for the Armory Track Invite?

Also, stacked field as usual. Can't wait to watch this and the rest of the Millrose events.

As I look at the exact fraction, and think about it a little more, it's really nothing special.

Probably more like 3:56-ish, I think.

Lawi's run was a lot better. (And Cam's double-run was GIGANTICALLY better.)

Millrose will be on TV 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on NBCSN. And again, that's on February 14.

I think Cain will perform better at Millrose but don't see any way she beats Rowbury. Cain said during the broadcast that she's in better 1500 shape than 800 shape right now and I think the 1500 is her best event overall.

I was thinking about Cheserek and what would happen if he wins. To me, winning this race would be more impressive than any of his NCAA titles. I know it's only February so none of these guys are in peak shape, but to defeat a field of this caliber as a college sophomore -- one who has in the past focused on the 5k/10k -- would be amazing.

I don't think he will win but I learned last year never to count that guy out.
