I've been doing a weight program for more than a month now. I'm following a stronglifts 5x5 program doing squats, deadlift and other olympic lifts. I lift in the mornings during hard running days. I haven't incorporated lifting with running before so I'm not sure how my body will handle it. What I've been noticing is that my legs lack that pep to do 10+ mile runs. I don't usually finish them as fresh as I used to.
Is this an adapting period that I will gradually overcome, or is doing lifts like squats 3 times a week too much??
