I've just gone down with a stress fracture in my left hip. I've been training with the hopes of running 4:15 and 1:55 come outdoor (junior, high school). Before the injury I was doing about 50 miles a week (only running 6 of the days, sunday is the Sabbath), with 3 workouts per week, and weight training/cross training every day (but sunday). My doctor said I can cycle and lift but not run. I was hoping you guys could provide me some advice on how I can train in cycling and weight lifting lifting to keep my fitness up and my goals possible. I should be able to run again in 6 weeks.
