Looks to me like they were going to come in together and then Jenkins sprinted in for the win.

That was a weird finish. In Futsums post race interview he said he thought he had him beat and was surprised Jenkins came back on him. The symmetry of the 1-2 finish was a huge motivator for Jenkins. No dresseling necessary.
Yeah, yeah, yeah .... we get it. You wanted use Dressel as a verb and be cute. But, no one would agree to come in together in the NCAA final, unless you were on the same team .... and even that is highly doubtful.

If the verb 'dressel' means to unleash a 603-sized portion of whoop ass (while reading this, please pronounce 'whoop' as 'hwoop') on him...then yes.
Also, let it be known that I smoked EJ at the 2009 Market Square Day 10K. He's not so tough.
I think you mean 2010...

Haha, yes it was 2010. Shouldn't you be in class? Great finish the other day.

Hey Eric, guess what. You suck and so does your lame Duck Oregon Ducks. GO HOME PLEASE.
THANKS
omg its eric J

Jenkins' finish was actually amazing to watch. Futsum had already kicked and was a step in front of him just a little bit out from the finish line but Jenkins decided that he had another gear in him, moved out from behind Futsum to the side, and kicked it in like a beast. Way to not give up.
Best 1-2 punch in the country! Jenkins used that mid-distance, sub-4 speed to nab the runner-up. Speed kills. It's a great weapon!!
But he's the world's fastest barista!

Eric, please don't hijack my thread. Thank you.
Eric, please don't hijack my thread. Thank you.
It's really the best thing that could happen to this stupid thread.
Have you ever talked to anyone who knows or has met AJ Acosta? He has never been described as a nice guy. Please search through other threads and there are posts of him hyping himself starting way back in his HS days. And are you in fact praising yourself for running 5:59? I believe you did say your name was You Suck and then proceeded to say "You suck, you 5:59 miler!!!!" Pride and third person are the perfect combination when making a point.
I've run 4:15 but I'm not a tool.
For those of you that are new to reading these threads, don't take them seriously. It's good entertainment. Like the comic strips in the newspapers.
The posts are mostly from HS kids that don't know much. Also I imagine there are a lot of frustrated slow guys that like to take the best runners and best programs and bash them. Lots of racists as well.
RULES FOR POSTING:
#1 Oregon is not to be praised. They cheat. They are overrated. They are a clown college.
#2 All African runners are overage. All of them. By a lot. 30 years old usually. Even in HS.
#3 Anyone associated with NIKE dopes if they are fast. And they are all fast. So they all dope.
#4 All great accomplishments are to be bashed. All great runners are to be bashed. Unless they are accomplished by Colorado runners. Until Colorado becomes too good for too long. Then they are in peril of being included in the same category as Oregon. Because you can't be good for too long or dominate for too long or you are doping. It's a fact. It's proven because posters on this site say so.
#5 Don't even think of starting a serious discussion on this site. It will be sabotaged by these HS guys and frustrated slow guys. They will turn it into an "I hate Oregon" thread. Or an "I hate Salazar, Nike" thread. Or an "I hate old, grampa Africans" thread.
#6 Most important rule of all. As you witness the ignorant, pitiful remarks of the youthful HS posters and frustrated slow guys, take pity on their poor souls and be thankful that there are forums like this for them. It occupies their time and limits their time on other , more serious sites.
