I'm watching this Kansas Kentucky bb game. Is this for real? Kentucky has such a loaded roster they're playing two separate platoons of five players each. No individual subs. Coach Cal just subs all 5 at once. A blue platoon and a white platoon. They are annihilating #5 Kansas doing this. Of course, UK has 9 McD all-americans on their team so they've got the depth. So basically, all ten players will have equal minutes of about 20 minutes each. All ten UK players have scored at least 2 pts in each half.
Has this ever been attempted by a team before? The only thing I can think of is the '92 USA Dream Team, but I don't think they swapped out 5 at a time. They just constantly better as rested players rotated for tired players.
I can't see how UK will lose a game this season. I mean even if 1 or 2 players have a bad game, the other 8 will cover them, and the player(s) with the bad game will only be on the floor for about 20 minutes at most.
It's amazing how Cal pulled it off getting all these recruits.
