I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this shoe. How does it fit and feel? Is it supportive at all?

I think it's a great shoe for middle long distance races. 1500-3000-5000-10000. Not very much support.
it's a great allround, use it to run 800 towards 10k on the track and never let me down.
Shoe is very light, but doesn't have that much comfort, but who cares during a race.
Could you compare it to another shoe? How does it fit?
The fit is narrow, i have size 40.5 when running in Asics.
The NB MLD5000 i also have in 40.5.
So sizing is normal.

WOW, I never knew they made show sizes bigger than 15. How big is your foot to get size 40.5?
Jokes aside, the description sounds like the width/sizing of the shoe is similar to that of the Nike Zoom Victory 1.
Ahh k, I have Victory Elite. They should be good to go then. I'm only asking because I can only order them through a retailer without any refund or size exchange.
I'll probably check them out, thank you
I used to race/do speedwork in the Asics Piranhas until they were discontinued. I was forced, then, to switch over to the closest shoes, which were these NB 5000s. What I found is that they offer very little support for just about the same weight of the Piranhas. I would find myself doing road races and feeling every bump on the road (small rocks, cracks on the asphalt, etc). It took some getting used to.
I think you may be comparing it to the NB spikeless RC 5000, where as I was questioning the spiked LD5000.
Anyhow, what version of the Piranhas were you using? They're a little more shoe than the NB spikeless, just a touch heavier with the same amount of drop. Have you ever tried Mizuno Wave Universe? How long did they hold up (the Piranhas and the 5000).
My issue is the pricing. The US will not ship most spikes or flats to Canada. The Spiked 5000 is 135$ the Spikeless is 185$, the Wave Universe is 150$. So far my only solution is to find them on ebay where someone is willing to ship.
I, am from Europe so i used the european sizing:D.
