Im going to be a softmor in hs and going for sub 17 and just about to end base. Although I was not religiously running tempos once a week I would do a good amount of proggessive runs and end some runs pretty tired. I built up from 30 mpw to my first 50 mile week this week after spending about 3 weeks in the 40's the last couple weeks. My training paces have not improved and I did mile repeats for the first time yesterday and didnt feel any different. What did I do wrong?
