I know the Huddle family.
The oldest sister is a gorgeous, brilliant opera singer. The second oldest is even cooler. She is the most free-spirited of the gals. Molly's twin could not be more different from her. She is unbelievably bright - but in an off-beat, super creative way.
Dad is a doc, mom is an artist.
One of the best families you could ever meet.
At least give us names so we can look up pics of these women.

Aren't female opera singers the ones who decide when things are over?
Kathleen and Joanna Stevens at Virginia and Georgetown, respectively.
Haley and Hannah Meier, both at Duke.
Kim Smith, who coincidentally trains with Molly in Providence, has a twin brother.

3.5 per one thousand births or 0.35 percent.
Interesting thing is that this percentage is uniform in every population around the world, while the rate of fraternal twins shows wide variation (from around 6 per thousand to over 20 per thousand).
Fertility drugs make fraternal twins

At one point, I thought there was a limit to how stupid some people could be. Then, yet again, something astounds me.
In Brad Hudson's book "Run" there's a pic of two girls that look like twins. Who are they?

That's true, and is one reason for the increase in fraternal twin rates in some developed populations, including the US.
However, it is also the case that there is great variation in fraternal twin rates between different populations where fertility drug usage is not the explanatory factor and the explanation remains unclear. For example, Central and West Africa show very high rates while Southeast Asia (and Japan) show low rates.
