I think Stone Cutter is in the middle of a road trip right now and I didn't see a thread so I'll get the party started.

I don't know what it was about this last training cycle and in particular the peak race, but it took me almost 2 weeks to get back to feeling "normal" after my race. It really wasn't until sometime yesterday/today where I felt like I had that "pop" back in my legs.
The 2 mile time might seem slow to most, but it's a tough course and I ran 12 seconds faster yesterday than I did on the same course 2 weeks before my half marathon. (albeit my legs were quite a bit more rested yesterday). Either way I am going to try to start workouts again this week and jump into a 10K and a 5K this month before ramping up the mileage for a fall cycle.
Hope everyone else had good weeks as well.
