I have a 4th of July 5K race tomorrow (I live in Florida) and it's going to be hot and humid since it's in a hot July morning.
Weather called for low 80s tomorrow morning where I live!
I know the heat affects your pace and stuff, but I want to run at least decent...I heard that you can precool your body with an ice vest (to lower body temp before race) but I do not have one.
My main question is, what makeshift (be creative!) ways/methods can I effectively pre-cool my body before the race in the heat without an ice vest?
