Okay, so my name is James and I'm 5'10 and 153 pounds and run xc and track. i'll be a junior this year and I'm kind of curious if I drop down to 135(my weight) that I can become faster. My pr in xc last year was 16:05 and i was about 145, I've grew like almost two inches since then so yeah. i want to run 15:30 or below this year but I'm kind of curious if my weight will let me do that. I wanna lose the weight but I have sleepovers or go to sleepovers like every night, so it's really hard to lose weight when you stay up late and eat pretty bad. I hardly eat anything till about 12 or even later. I usually drink a cup of coffee in the morning and that's usually what holds me to maybe lunch at 3 or even later, maybe later. I'm just curious though if I get down to 135, that I can become that much faster. Any thoughts? Thx. Btw, if you can, can you give me some tips to losing weight? Thx again.
