I've done something very similar except my shorter runs are in the morning. I'm not a morning person at all so I used the mornings for the easier shakeout runs and saved the afternoons for the good stuff.

What's your goal distance?
Fall 8k's for Cross Country. Track is anything from the 800 to the 5k but mostly steeplechase.

Add a mile or two to the Wednesday run or to either run on the double days to get a few more for the week.
Would like to hear some other opinions. On both 8k training and 3k steeple training.
