What is Galen Rupp doing with most of his time now? Is he in school somewhere? I heard he planned to attend Portland State this Fall. I attempted to find a student directory for Portland State and do a search for his name but had no luck.

Probably getting ready for the real XC season, which does not start till late November.
I would expect to see him at Club Nats on Dec.4 in his hometown, and USA XC nats in mid February.
Injured with a stress fracture.
Please: tell me your source?
Does he really have a stress fracture? I havent heard anything. I doubt it is Al posting that.
I was going to ask the same question: what is his first race planned?
Galen is still in Portland but will not enroll at PSU until winter quarter.
He is healthy and training with the Oregon Project and has no plans - currently - to race until at least January.
Dave Frank,
Thank you for the accurate info on the whereabouts of Rupp. It's always nice to know where the phenoms that I ran against in high school are up to now.
it's also always nice to know what frankie is up to
A question for Dave Frank. Is that another way of saying Rupp is wating to see if Salazar is really going to Oregon in January?
Well deduced, perhaps. I hope that the circumstance may come to fruition.

To my knowledge, no.
Galen's training workload has increased this fall so he's simply not taking classes until he becomes comfortable with that amount of work.

If you have any details on said workload, I'm sure you'd find a very receptive audience here.

Yeah, and unfortunately he'll also find an audience salivating at the prospect of telling him why Rupp should be running 13:25 right now instead of his mere HSR 13:37.
Good luck to Galen.
