I'm going to south korea for 2 weeks and it is going to extremely humid (between 85 - 95%) and I'm wondering if training in this humidity will do wonders for my training for September's cross country season?
Also any other asian runners here on Letsrun?
Being from a humid area, run early in the morning, or else it will suck. While your body will adapt to the heat and humidity, 2 weeks is not enough time to see any real affects. And honestly, the only benefit I have seen from it is that you are better in humid conditions, not that you improve when the humidity is taken away.
It's kind of funny to see runners from perfect New Mexico come run in the Gulf area of Texas and complain. "How do you deal with this humidity? It's like we're swimming through air"
