Seems to me like there aren't so many tough-minded runners today. Far too many people make excuses to run on an indoor track or treadmill just because the weather isn't perfect. Yesterday at practice (in college) we ran on the indoor track just because of a steady rain. Naturally, I was upset because I'm all about the elements. My teammates even chose to cool down running around that forsaken synthetic oval as I trekked outside in no more than a drizzle.
Frankly, I don't see any point in running if you don't get to go places and see new things. It's boring as shit if you don't. I pride myself on being a real runner who doesn't wear a walkman and doesn't need to pussy out just because the weather isn't acceptable. Just gives evryone else a reason to call you a skinny bleeping bleep if you ask me.
