I am amazed that she she still ended up with a very good time and in the grand scheme of things, it is not that big a deal. Although, I do have a few questions about exactly how did this happen?
o In an event under 5K
o You have been running indoor races for nearly a decade
o You have a clearly visible lap counter
o You have a coach counting out splits and laps
o You can see the clock as you approach the finish line
o You see no change in the cadence or body movement of the athlete in front of you
o You don't see a tape stretched out accross the finish line
o Why would you spot an athlete that much distance if you knew you only had one lap to go
