Okay, I was wondering how feasible it would be to move to a cheap location such as Alamosa, or another rural area with low rent, work a no brain job (say running shoe store 20-30 hours a week) and live on my own in something like a trailer or one bedroom apartment while training to break 2:18 for the marathon? Has anyone had experience with this? Did you make enough to pay rent and eat? I'm really not interested in owning a cell phone or a computer for that matter. Simple living and hard training is what I'm going for.
