I raced a 10k today, with the goal being to run it as a workout and try to run my goal HM pace. I've been running 90-100 mpw for the past 3 weeks, and I can tell my legs are pretty tired/dead. I was okay the first 4 miles of the race but my legs felt pretty dead the last 2 miles.
I'm planning to run less this week, and then next week too.. but maybe keep in a light workout 4-5 days before, such as a 3 mile tempo (at HM pace) + 4-5 x 3:00 (at 10k pace).
10 days should be enough for my legs to recover/feel better right?
